Cummins Creek.

Sept. 3rd.—The patrons of the Boggy Branch school called a meeting at which important matters were discussed. The new building is now entirely completed, it is painted inside and outside, and will be equipped with patent descks, new blackboards, water coolers, drinking cups, etc.

The school is situated among a grove [of] blackberry trees with a full view of the surrounding country. The play grounds are overgrown with Bermuda grass and it is indeed an ideal place for a school. School will open Oct. 1st with Miss Selma Steinman from Schulenburg as teacher.
