Arthur F.WILLMANN,
March 1, 1911 - May 18, 1992

Services for Arthur F. Willmann, 81, of Columbus, were held May 20 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Columbus with Father Jesse Euresti officiating.

Interment followed at St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery.

Willmann died at River Oaks Nursing Home in Columbus.

He was born on Mary 1, 1911 in Ellinger to Henry T. and Augusta Algrim [sic] Willmann.

On November 9, 1930 he married Hilda Schneider.

He was a retired dragline operator for Thorsenburg Material Co.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.

Survivors included numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Manuel Schneider, Louis Schneider, William "Nottie" Schneider, Donald Gesser, Clements Noska and Thomas Neuendorff.

Willmann, Augusta

Mrs. Willmann is Buried at Hostyn

Mrs.Augusta Willmann, 54, who died at her home in Ellinger, Saturday, was buried at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery at Hostyn Monday morning with Father Gorek in charge of the ceremony.

Pallbearers were Leo Werland, Otto Peters, Henry Becker, Columbus; Tom Jasek, Fayetteville; Richard Maikoetter, Alleyton; and Alex F (?), Ellinger.

Mrs. Willmann came with her family to this country from Germany when she was 6 years old, settling in Ellinger. She is survived by her husband, Henry T. Willmann and three sons, Elo and Kermit Willmann of Columbus and Arthur Williamnn of Fayetteville.

WILLMANN, Elo J.

Elo J. Willmann passed away Sunday at the Fayetteville Memorial Hospital in La Grange.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at the St. Anthony's Catholic Church under the direction of Henneke Funeral Home with Bishop Hugo Gerberman officiating. The rosary was held Monday at the Henneke Funeral Home. Burial was at St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery in Columbus.

Mr. Willmann was born June 26, 1907 in Ellinger to Mr. and Mrs. Henry T. Willmann. He married Helen Fellmann on November 11, 1931. Mr. Willmann lived 47 years in Columbus and the last three years he lived with his daughter in La Grange. He was a retired carpenter.

Mr. Willmann was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, one brother and one great granddaughter.

Survivors include his daughter, Mrs. Helen Wostarek, and son-in-law Erwin Wostarek of La Grange; one brother, Arthur Willmann of Columbus, Mr. Willmann has three grandchildren, Chris and Patrick Wostarek and Veronica Muehr, and one great grandchild, Sara Muehr.

Pallbearers included Chris Wostarek, Patrick Wostarek, Gary Muehr, Charles Hercek, Edgar Schobel and Kermitt Stolle

Willmann, Henry T.

Henry T. Willmann Services Are Held

Funeral services wre held at the Jecmenek Chapel in Ellinger Tuesday morning for Henry T. Willmann, 75, who died Saturday at the Youens Hospital in Weimar.

Burial was in the Hostyn Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Willmann had been in failing health for 5 years. Ten years ago he came here to live with his son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Willmann, and had lived here ever since. Before that time he had spent most of his life near Ellinger where he was born Feb. 28, 1879. His parents were Mr. and Mrs. Ben Willmann.

Rev. Alex Krause of Columbus officiated in the services. Pallbearers were J. L. Drymalla, Lester Schneider, Henry Hoelscher, Luther Barrett, Otto Peters and Richard Maikoetter.

Besides his son, Arthur, he is survived by 2 other sons, Elo of near Glidden and Kermit of Beaumont.

Willmann, Hilda (Schneider)

Mrs. Willmann Dies After Long Illness; Burial Here

Funeral services were held at Untermeyer Funeral Home Feb. 15 for Mrs. Arthur Willmann, 64, who died in Columbus Hospital Feb. 13 after a lengthy illness. The Rev. Joseph Deane officiated at the funeral home and at Requiem High Mass in St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Burial was in St. Anthony's parish cemetery. Rosary was recited in the funeral home Thursday and Friday evenings. [Interment in St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery.]

Born June 25, 1889, she was the former Hilda Schneider, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Schneider, Sr. She and her husband had lived in Columbus 15 years.

Her husband survives, along with 2 sisters, Mrs. H. B. Gresser of Smithville and Mrs. Tom Jasek of Fayetteville and a brother, Louis Schneider of Rogers, also a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were her nephews, Lester Schneider, Nottie Schneider, Manuel Schneider, Otto Schobel, Donald Gesser, Louis Schneider, Jr., Charlie Neuendorff and Justin Stein. Altar boys were Russel Braden, M. H. and Irving Schneider, Henry Smahlik and Henry Schneider.

Willmann, James Leonard

WILLMANN

James Leonard Willmann, 63, of Sulphur, La. passed away March 7 at his residence after a nine-year illness of Multiple Systems Atrophy.

He was born in La Grange Dec. 29, 1939 to Leon and Vlasta Willmann and married Virginia Smith June 2, 1962. He retired from Sears and Roebuck Company after 34 years of employment. He was a U.S. Army veteran, a member of the Maplewood-Hollywood Lions Club, Southwest Louisiana Apartment Association, the Bel Reeves Hunt Club and the Texas A&M Association of Former Students.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife; son, Gary and wife Jeanie Willmann of Plano; daughter Jennifer and husband Brad Worth of Frisco; and grandchildren, Rachel Will-mann, Lauren Willmann, Brandon Worth, Cameron Worth and Kathryn Worth.

Funeral services were March 10 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Columbus. Interment followed at St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Larry Jirkovsky, Gene Jirkovsky, Vernon Matusek, Otto Loessin, Don Montier and David Riddle.

Willmann, Johann Bernard

Alleyton, Jan. 23.--Mr. Ben Willman died here last evening of pneumonia, after an illness of 90 days. He leaves a wife and four children. [Interment in St. Roch’s]

Willmann, Vlasta (Knapek)

Vlasta Willmann, 84, of Columbus passed away Aug. 17 at her residence.

She was born in Shaws Bend, Aug. 6, 1918 to Joe and Philomena (Becica) Knapek and married Leon A. Willmann, April 14, 1936. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Columbus, T&T Quilters of Columbus, Shaws Bend EEA Club and the St. Anthony Altar Society of Columbus.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and brother, Alvin "Shorty" Knapek.

She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, James Leonard and Virginia Ann Willmann of Sulphur, La.; sisters, Laura Riddle of Houston and Leona Ciomperlik of San Antonio; grandchildren, Gary Willmann and Jennifer Worth, both of Plano; and five great-grandchildren.

A parish prayer service and rosary will take place on Thursday, Aug. 22 at 7 p.m. at Henneke Funeral Home in Columbus. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m., Aug. 23 at St. Anthony Catholic Church with Father Dan Kahlich officiating. Interment will follow at St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers planned are Gene Jirkovsky, Larry Jirkovsky, David Dunlop, James Ciomperlik, Don Montier, Otto Loessin and Mark Shreves.
