COMMENTS: The family of James Calvin Loe had everything going for it but ended in tragedy. James and Margaret both died unexpectedly, leaving four young children who were taken in by their grandfather, John A. Suggs. Their father's estate was looted by their nephew, Felix Loe. The Colorado County probate record of this case is incredible, a terrible miscarriage of justice occurred here. The children also begged the Loe family to help but none came.
